Responsibilities
- Coordinate FAO programme implementation and country engagement in Niue
- Align agriculture, food-security and emergency projects with national and UN priorities
- Consult government, UN agencies and partners on country programming needs
- Develop project concepts, donor proposals and programme documents
- Coordinate resource mobilisation and partnership pipelines
- Monitor portfolio delivery, resources, compliance and operational risks
- Provide accurate information for corporate monitoring and reporting systems
- Support assessments, evaluation, capacity development and visibility events
Requirements
- University degree in agriculture, agricultural or development economics, rural development, food security or nutrition, forestry or fisheries, environmental or natural-resource management, business administration, project management or a related area
- At least three years of relevant experience in programme or project management, agriculture or food-security policy analysis, rural development, or monitoring and evaluation
- Working knowledge of English
- Niue nationality or residence with a valid work permit
