Job Description

Supports UNDP Indonesia’s youth-empowerment and innovation portfolio, including YUMEE and YDEEP. The role coordinates project planning, partnerships and communications, maintains stakeholder and donor information, supports youth-sector engagement and contributes to knowledge management and programme delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and preparation for youth-engagement initiatives
  • Compile and present project information and data
  • Implement project procedures in line with government and UNDP regulations
  • Support communications and digital content for youth engagement
  • Coordinate programmes with government, UN agencies and development partners
  • Maintain stakeholder, partner and donor information
  • Support knowledge management and youth-sector engagement

Role Requirements

  • Secondary education, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • At least five years of relevant youth-empowerment experience with secondary education, or two years with a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience assisting project or programme implementation
  • Experience in communications
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, spreadsheets and AI-related applications
  • Fluency in English and Indonesian

Desired Criteria

  • Experience providing administrative and logistical support for collaborative programmes
  • Experience coordinating youth-focused or innovation programmes
  • Experience working with development agencies in youth empowerment
  • Experience engaging startups, accelerators, founders, universities or private-sector investors
  • Experience maintaining project databases or activity documentation
