Manage the private-sector pillar of the Jordan chapter of the Surging Women’s Employment Flagship Initiative, expanding Women’s Empowerment Principles engagement and helping companies improve women’s employment, workplace equality and gender-responsive procurement.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the private-sector pillar under the Jordan chapter
- Develop workplans, roadmaps and monitoring frameworks aligned with the employment goal
- Build partnerships with companies, government counterparts and business associations
- Expand and reactivate Women’s Empowerment Principles signatories in priority sectors
- Design training and provide tailored advisory support to participating companies
- Support implementation of the National Gender Seal with KACE
- Coordinate Jordan activities with relevant regional private-sector initiatives
- Support preparation of the annual Arab States Private Sector Forum
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in economics, international collaboration, social sciences or a relevant field, or first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience implementing, monitoring and reporting programmes related to gender and the private sector
- Experience engaging the private sector for women’s economic empowerment in Jordan
- Experience providing advisory support to the private sector on women’s economic empowerment
- Experience providing capacity building and coordinating with private-sector and civil-society stakeholders
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Desired Criteria
- Experience working with the United Nations
