Overview

Leads delivery of Zambia’s multi-partner FACE-NDC climate-empowerment programme, coordinating nine work packages, government and consortium partners. The adviser provides strategic and technical direction, oversees results and donor reporting, manages risks and strengthens learning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project implementation, technical direction and quality assurance
  • Coordinate consortium governance and delivery across nine work packages
  • Oversee annual planning, budgets, monitoring, evaluation and IKI impact reporting
  • Manage government, donor, academic and civil-society partnerships
  • Supervise the project team, risks, communications and knowledge management

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in agriculture, forestry, natural-resources management, environmental or climate science, education, development studies or a related field, with two additional years for bachelor’s holders
  • At least five years managing complex multi-partner development or climate programmes with field leadership
  • Working knowledge of English
