Job Description
Supports UNICEF’s climate-resilient education agenda across Pacific Island countries, helping turn climate-change and disaster-risk priorities into effective education programming. Working with education, field-office and cross-sector teams, the role plans, implements and monitors results, coordinates partners, and strengthens knowledge and capacity for resilient learning systems.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support implementation of climate-resilient education programming
- Address climate change and disaster-risk reduction across Pacific countries
- Support programme development and planning
- Manage, monitor and deliver programme results
- Provide technical and operational support to implementation
- Coordinate partners across education, field offices and related sections
- Strengthen innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or a related field
- At least two years of relevant experience in programme planning, management or research in education
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in a UN system agency or organization
- Experience promoting climate priorities with government, UN, private-sector or other partners
- Experience in a developing country, Pacific or small-island developing-state context
- Experience managing education programmes at global, regional or multi-country level
- Experience working across more than one country on education programming
