Education Officer (Data & Systems)

Strengthens education data systems and data-driven governance for UNICEF and the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department. The officer leads digitization and systems-integration initiatives, improves data quality, analytics and results-based management, and builds government ownership of infrastructure so digital investments improve education service delivery and learning outcomes.

• Support SELD and UNICEF to institutionalize data-driven governance
• Lead planning and implementation of education-data digitization initiatives
• Integrate education data systems and strengthen data infrastructure, systems and processes
• Improve data quality assurance, analytics and the use of education data for decision-making
• Support programme monitoring, reporting and results management
• Build SELD institutional capacity and government ownership of data systems
• Travel to Sindh districts for programme implementation and monitoring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent first-level university degree in Education, Public Policy, Statistics, Economics or another Social Science field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in programme planning, management or research in education
• Experience in education data analysis, management information systems and monitoring systems
• Fluency in English and Urdu

• Specialized degree courses with practical experience in education management information and data systems
• Experience working in budget support or technical assistance contexts
• Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
