Job Description
Supports ECLAC’s external-sector statistics work by collecting, validating and cleaning economic data and maintaining organised statistical databases. The intern contributes to reports on balance of payments, trade statistics and national accounts, helping the team produce reliable evidence and analytical outputs for regional economic analysis and decision-making.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, validation and cleaning processes
- Support preparation of external-sector reports on balance of payments statistics
- Support preparation of external-sector reports on trade statistics and national accounts
- Maintain and organise statistical databases
Role Requirements
- Be in the final year of a first university degree, enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. programme, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. programme
- Be a student or graduate in Commercial Engineering
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish
- Knowledge of English
