Job Description
Support ECLAC's EU-funded inclusive-societies programme in Santiago through health and social-registry technical assistance. The consultant will review an IMSS-COPLAMAR database, prepare workshop and seminar activities, and produce a gender-responsive report comparing social registries, records and health information systems to strengthen social-protection and health-system coordination.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review and provide technical support for an IMSS-COPLAMAR database measuring community action contributions to preventive health results
- Prepare materials, presentations and technical organisation for the final IMSS technical-assistance workshop
- Provide technical support for project activities at the Seventh Regional Seminar on Social Development
- Produce a regional report on social registries and health systems with a gender perspective
- Review, systematise and compare national and regional social-registry experiences and links to administrative and health-information systems
- Analyse how these instruments identify and address groups in vulnerable situations
Role Requirements
- Professional background in social sciences or health
- At least 6 years of experience in social-science research and public-policy design or recommendations
- Advanced command of Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Experience providing technical assistance to Latin American and Caribbean countries
- Experience and knowledge of social registries and their linkage with health
