Job Description
UNHCR seeks a home-based contractor to support Information Integrity projects on digital protection. The contractor will plan project activities, research misinformation and online harms, maintain and disseminate a response toolkit, deliver training, prepare donor and progress reporting, monitor the Global Refugee Forum pledge, and coordinate partners across UNHCR operations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan and organize Information Integrity project activities
- Research misinformation, disinformation and hate speech
- Provide guidance to country-operation pilot projects
- Draft messaging, newsletters, stories and website updates
- Maintain and disseminate the Information Integrity Response Toolkit
- Develop and deliver Toolkit training materials and programmes
- Prepare funding proposals, donor reports and internal reporting
- Monitor media and synthesize relevant misinformation and online-harm news
Role Requirements
- At least four years of relevant work experience
- At least one year developing and delivering misinformation, disinformation and hate-speech capacity for an international organization
- At least two years of digital strategy, international relations, policy, research or project-management experience
- Advanced degree in information and communication technologies, journalism, data science, human rights, public policy or a related field, or first degree with qualifying experience
- Fluent English with excellent drafting and editorial skills

- Knowledge of trust and safety, online harms, digital literacy, digital policy and technology regulation
- Knowledge of UNHCR, humanitarian and conflict contexts, forced displacement, asylum and statelessness
