Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Curitiba municipal focal points on carbon-project implementation
- Draft a database structure for carbon-market stakeholders and projects
- Run stakeholder workshops and site visits
- Coordinate baseline assessments and monitor project progress
- Provide technical assistance to municipalities and states
- Identify policy gaps and communicate climate-mitigation evidence
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in environmental science or related field
- At least two years of demonstrated carbon-market assessment and carbon-analysis experience
- Knowledge of Brazilian institutional, political and regulatory context for environmental asset markets
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
Desired Criteria
- Experience working in Curitiba and its biome
- Ability to translate technical and scientific evidence into policy recommendations
