Job Description
Supports UN-Habitat’s Policy and Legislation Section in Nairobi with research and policy work on urban-rural linkages, regeneration and territorial development. The intern reviews evidence and comparative practice, prepares briefings and technical inputs, analyses cases and data, develops knowledge products and policy tools, and helps organise workshops and learning events for government

Summary of Responsibilities
- Conduct research on urban and rural development policy
- Prepare literature summaries and technical inputs
- Analyse data and case-based evidence on territorial linkages
- Prepare concept notes, presentations and reports
- Develop knowledge products and policy tools
- Support workshops, webinars and learning events
Role Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in urban studies, planning, geography, international development or a related field
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Fluency in English
