Job Description
Designs a harmonised regional training framework and toolkit for water-resource governance, climate resilience and peacebuilding across Mauritania, Mali and Senegal. The consultant reviews existing material, identifies gaps, adapts and creates modules, and produces facilitator guides, presentations and evaluation tools. The work equips institutional and community actors for coordinated cross-border capacity building.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review existing training modules and guidance
- Identify gaps and update needs in training content
- Harmonise and adapt modules for cross-border contexts
- Develop new modules on priority project themes
- Create a regional training framework and toolkit
- Prepare facilitator guides, presentations and evaluation tools
- Develop recommendations for coordinated programme delivery
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant field
- At least ten years of confirmed expertise in training engineering and curriculum development
- Excellent written and oral French
Desired Criteria
- Experience developing conflict-sensitive modules for public authorities and community actors
- Knowledge of local languages in intervention areas
- Good command of English
