Develops computational economics, econometric, machine-learning and data-engineering solutions for IMF surveillance, lending and capacity development. The role turns research and business needs into scalable models, pipelines, algorithms and reproducible workflows, while building shared analytical platforms and practical documentation, applications and training for varied users.

• Develop quantitative and economic modeling solutions
• Research algorithms and reusable analytical tools
• Build scalable data pipelines and data platforms
• Optimize computational models and software solutions
• Maintain shared analytical platforms and workflows
• Develop documentation, sample applications and training materials

• Advanced degree plus four years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years
• Expertise in data engineering and architecture
• Knowledge of econometric methods, economic models and machine learning
