Climate Finance Specialist

Supports Thailand's NDC Act & Invest Initiative to turn livestock methane-mitigation priorities into investable climate projects. The specialist assesses financing barriers and market opportunities, develops project pipelines and finance instruments, convenes government and financial partners, and prepares analyses, engagement records and plans needed to mobilise investment in the dairy sector.

• Assess financing conditions for livestock methane-abatement solutions
• Develop investable project pipelines and climate-finance mechanisms
• Prepare a detailed work plan with project stakeholders
• Coordinate technical inputs with national institutions and the regional coordinator
• Develop stakeholder mapping, consultation agendas and a mission plan
• Prepare briefs, recommendations and engagement records for financial partners
• Support technical and financial scoping of the prioritised investment portfolio

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, public policy, administration or a closely related field
• Master's degree in economics, finance, public policy, environmental economics, climate change or project management
• At least five years of professional experience in climate finance, sustainable investment, green finance or related areas
• Fluency in English and Thai

• Climate-finance experience
• Knowledge of Thailand's climate regulatory and planning framework
• Experience with Thai public-financing systems
