UNICEF seeks an international consultant to advance child-rights governance in Georgia through a municipal Child Rights Impact Assessment model and children’s rights education. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Refine the context-tailored CRIA model and guidance package
  • Design CRIA awareness and capacity-building activities for municipal authorities
  • Guide piloting of CRIA and recommendations for full-scale implementation
  • Develop child-rights training resources for educators
  • Design and deliver the introductory Training of Trainers component
  • Provide technical guidance with UNICEF Child Protection and Social Policy teams

Role Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in law, international law, social science or a related field
  • At least ten years of experience in child rights, policy and legislative development
  • Excellent English communication, negotiation and writing skills

Desired Criteria

  • Experience developing Child Rights Impact Assessment tools and methodologies
  • Previous collaboration with UN or UNICEF
