Job Description
This UNICEF consultancy will help strengthen Greece's child-rights governance system by supporting authorities to operationalise monitoring and evaluation of child-rights action plans, develop a National Action Plan for Child Rights with a robust M&E framework, and establish a consolidated child-protection governance mechanism. The consultant will provide high-level policy and technical support, coordination and practical guidance.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring and evaluation mechanism for child-rights action plans
- Contribute to a National Action Plan for Child Rights and its monitoring and evaluation framework
- Help develop a consolidated governance mechanism for child protection
- Provide technical support and practical policy guidance to government and stakeholder counterparts
Role Requirements
- Greek nationals only
- Master's degree in a listed or related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in child rights, public policy and social policy
- Experience designing or strengthening national child-rights frameworks and advising on child rights
- Experience working with government institutions and multi-stakeholder coordination mechanisms
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UNICEF, UN agencies, EU institutions or government counterparts
- Experience supporting child-rights monitoring frameworks and child-focused policies or action plans
- Familiarity with Greece's child-rights policy and institutional context
