Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with human rights and humanitarian law
- Collect and analyse evidence for early warning and accountability
- Conduct field verification and investigative missions
- Draft reports, briefings and legal analysis
- Advise counterparts on legislation and security-sector reform
- Support protection-of-civilians and child-protection strategies
- Contribute to donor engagement and proposal development
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in human rights, law, political science, international relations, social sciences, economics, public policy, sustainable development or humanitarian affairs
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in human rights or related areas
- English

- Knowledge of regional and international human rights mechanisms
