Responsibilities
- Integrate protection and human-rights standards into humanitarian frameworks
- Monitor violations of human-rights and humanitarian law
- Document abuses affecting women, girls and persons with disabilities
- Train civil society and local responders on gender, disability and inclusion
- Support programmes protecting human-rights defenders and women-led organisations
- Strengthen documentation, advocacy and protection-referral pathways
- Coordinate human-rights inputs with UN humanitarian and development partners
Requirements
- Experience working with civil society, human-rights defenders or local humanitarian responders
- Experience applying gender and Leave No One Behind principles
- Experience monitoring and reporting human-rights violations from a gender perspective
