Responsibilities

  • Integrate protection and human-rights standards into humanitarian frameworks
  • Monitor violations of human-rights and humanitarian law
  • Document abuses affecting women, girls and persons with disabilities
  • Train civil society and local responders on gender, disability and inclusion
  • Support programmes protecting human-rights defenders and women-led organisations
  • Strengthen documentation, advocacy and protection-referral pathways
  • Coordinate human-rights inputs with UN humanitarian and development partners

Requirements

  • Experience working with civil society, human-rights defenders or local humanitarian responders
  • Experience applying gender and Leave No One Behind principles
  • Experience monitoring and reporting human-rights violations from a gender perspective
  • English proficiency
