Humanitarian Affairs Officer

Strengthen OCHA Ethiopia's humanitarian coordination by integrating localization, accountability to affected people, gender, disability inclusion, PSEA and climate considerations into analysis, products and inter-agency processes; engaging local actors, supporting field structures, training partners and briefing leadership.

Department: Coordination and Information Management Unit

• Integrate cross-cutting inclusion priorities into coordination products and workplans
• Coordinate AAP, gender, PSEA and localization focal-point collaboration
• Improve analytical templates, dashboards and internal guidance
• Use disaggregated data and community insights in humanitarian analysis
• Embed thematic issues in national and sub-national coordination processes
• Engage local NGOs, women-led groups, disability organizations and government
• Develop collective community-engagement and feedback approaches
• Facilitate training and track thematic-integration progress

• Experience in humanitarian affairs, coordination, programme support or community engagement
• Experience in at least two of AAP, localization, humanitarian gender, disability inclusion, protection mainstreaming or partner capacity strengthening
• English proficiency
