Responsibilities

  • Coordinate stakeholder consultations and refine the design and governance of the Investment Facility
  • Establish referral pathways connecting marginalized women with shelters, employment services, municipalities and employers
  • Engage employers to identify workforce needs and preferential employment opportunities
  • Build beneficiary pipelines, verify eligibility and support co-financing applications
  • Mentor women on business ideas, planning and access to finance and advise participating employers
  • Organize validation conferences and prepare consultation, progress and monitoring reports
  • Provide post-award coaching and monitor business development and employment outcomes
  • Connect promising businesses with grants, accelerators, finance providers and impact investors

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in economics, business administration, policy, development studies, gender studies, social sciences or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in empowerment, employment, entrepreneurship or social-inclusion programmes for marginalized groups
  • Experience coordinating referrals across protection, employment and economic-development actors
  • Experience working with marginalized women, survivors of violence and economically inactive women
  • Experience supporting self-employment incentives, business planning, mentoring and access to finance
  • Fluency in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian
  • Excellent command of English
