Responsibilities

  • Design and implement state programming with government and civil-society partners
  • Develop, monitor and report workplans aligned with UNFPA transformative results
  • Apply programme and financial oversight, compliance and quality-assurance systems
  • Analyse delivery bottlenecks and recommend corrective action
  • Draft quarterly and annual programme and financial reports
  • Prepare analysis and materials for state policy dialogue
  • Coordinate UN and development-partner discussions on sustainable-development priorities
  • Support advocacy products, donor proposals and resource mobilisation

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in international development, public policy, public health, population studies or a related social-science field
  • At least two years of professional experience in development management
  • Experience in programme design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, including budget management
  • Experience with office software and web-based management systems
  • Fluent English
