Responsibilities
- Design and implement multisectoral GBV prevention and response interventions
- Apply UNFPA minimum standards across survivor-support programming
- Lead girls' empowerment initiatives that build resilience and agency
- Provide technical assistance and strategic advocacy to programme partners
- Coordinate GBV work with government, UN agencies, NGOs and civil society
- Represent UNFPA in GBV sub-clusters and working groups
- Develop evidence-based results frameworks and theories of change
- Support resource mobilization and community-level social-norm change
Requirements
- Advanced degree in gender studies, human rights, international development, social sciences or a related field
- Progressively responsible gender-equality, gender-mainstreaming, human-rights or women's-empowerment experience
- Development-programming experience focused on gender equality, GBV or girls' empowerment
- English fluency
