Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the hackathon workplan and activity calendar
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for mentorship sessions, webinars, check-ins and events
- Manage day-to-day communications with participants, mentors and partners
- Track team progress against milestones and flag delays or risks
- Prepare agendas, meeting notes and follow-up action points
- Maintain records of participants, teams, mentors and partner focal points
- Prepare communication materials, updates and progress reports
- Coordinate submission, evaluation and awards processes at the close of the hackathon
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, tracking and follow-up of activities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while keeping the coordinating team informed
