Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor the hackathon workplan and activity calendar
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for mentorship sessions, webinars, check-ins and events
  • Manage day-to-day communications with participants, mentors and partners
  • Track team progress against milestones and flag delays or risks
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes and follow-up action points
  • Maintain records of participants, teams, mentors and partner focal points
  • Prepare communication materials, updates and progress reports
  • Coordinate submission, evaluation and awards processes at the close of the hackathon

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, tracking and follow-up of activities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while keeping the coordinating team informed
