Job Description
Strengthens UNICEF’s child-protection programme in Haiti by supporting planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of interventions that prevent violence, abuse and exploitation. The temporary role helps government and partners turn priorities into accountable results, build a protective environment for children and reinforce coordination and capacity across emergency response activities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support planning and development of child-protection programmes and projects
- Manage implementation, monitoring and delivery of programme results
- Provide technical and operational support to child-protection interventions
- Coordinate with government counterparts, partners and stakeholders
- Strengthen knowledge management, innovation and capacity building
- Support prevention and response to violence, abuse and exploitation of children
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law or a relevant social science field
- At least five years of professional experience in child-protection project planning and management
- International work in a developing country and emergency context
- Intermediate French and English
Desired Criteria
- Another official UN language is an asset
- UNICEF child-protection emergency experience is a strong advantage
- Capacity-building experience is an added advantage
