Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support child-protection programme development and planning
  • Manage implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation
  • Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation
  • Build networks and partnerships
  • Strengthen national and international child-protection efforts
  • Support a protective environment for children

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law or another relevant social science field
  • At least five years of professional experience in social-sector development, planning or management in child-protection areas
  • Fluency in French

Desired Criteria

  • UN-system child-protection experience
  • Partnerships with government institutions and NGOs
  • Field experience in Côte d’Ivoire
  • Case-management systems experience
