Job Description
Support IOM Greece’s child-protection action for unaccompanied migrant children by coordinating implementation partners, compiling project information and reports, monitoring emergency accommodation facilities, and supporting child-protection SOPs, workshops and records. The Project Assistant liaises with organisational units and external parties to deliver documented protection and care services.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to implementing partners delivering project activities
- Compile and present information and data on partner-implemented activities and project tools
- Consolidate partner narrative reports and draft reports for the Ministry of Migration and Asylum
- Coordinate requests, clearances and administrative follow-up with organisational units and external parties
- Monitor Emergency Accommodation Facility operations and legislative-framework compliance
- Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables and presentations
- Monitor implementing-partner performance and donor-requirement compliance for child-protection services
- Support development of child-protection standard operating procedures and organise meetings, workshops and training sessions
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field with one year of relevant experience, or school diploma with three years
- Fluency in Greek and English, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience providing direct assistance to migrants or refugees
- Previous experience working with children
- Experience in a multicultural environment
- Computer-literacy certification
- Valid driver’s licence with at least five years of driving experience
