Summary of Responsibilities
- Strengthen community-based child-protection mechanisms
- Build frontline-worker and community-actor capacity
- Support case management and referral systems
- Coordinate with Department of Social Services and partners
- Support approved workplan implementation
- Monitor service quality, safeguarding and programme risks
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, child protection, social sciences, sociology, anthropology, development studies, public administration, public policy or related field
- At least two years of community-based child-protection experience
- Fluency in English and Bangla
Desired Criteria
- Experience with government counterparts or protection service hubs
- UNICEF, UN, NGO or civil-society experience
- Knowledge of another UN or local language
