Job Description
UNICEF Cambodia seeks a national Child Protection intern in Phnom Penh to support legal and regulatory work on the social-service workforce. The intern will assist consultants and the Child Protection Section with translation, consultation logistics, documentation and drafting support for Royal Decree and Prakas updates that strengthen licensing, accreditation and professional regulation.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist an international consultant with translation while reviewing, revising and presenting the draft Royal Decree on the Social Service Workforce Board
- Provide administrative and translation support for review and updates to the Prakas on social-service workforce roles, standards and regulation
- Support national and subnational consultations on the first Royal Decree draft and summarize feedback
- Support translation and drafting of the second Royal Decree version and knowledge paper
- Prepare correspondence, meeting notes and documentation and support filing, archiving and document management
Role Requirements
- Currently enrolled in at least the third year of, or recently graduated from, social work, law or a related field
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Khmer
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Interest in regulatory-framework development for the social-service workforce

Additional Information
- Full-time six-month internship from October 2026 to February 2027
- Monday to Friday, eight hours per day
- Flexible working hours may be arranged with supervisor approval
- One-time reimbursement up to USD 100
