Summary of Responsibilities
- Support planning and implementation of child-protection interventions
- Strengthen Child Protection Community Hubs and community mechanisms
- Support government coordination on child-marriage and child-labour prevention
- Promote community engagement, child participation and positive parenting
- Strengthen referral pathways to statutory child-protection services
- Support monitoring, evidence generation and reporting
- Manage quality assurance, safeguarding and programme risks
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, child protection, social sciences, anthropology, sociology, development studies, international development, public policy or related field
- At least two years of child-protection or violence-prevention experience
- Fluency in English and Bangla
Desired Criteria
- Experience with government counterparts and community protection mechanisms
- UNICEF, UN, NGO or civil-society child-protection experience
- Knowledge of another UN or local language
