Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support protection assistance based on informed consent and humanitarian-protection principles
  • Interview trafficking survivors, vulnerable migrants and crisis-affected people using child- and gender-sensitive approaches
  • Assess beneficiary needs and report them to the Protection Officer
  • Prepare regular case-management reports and enter beneficiary data
  • Support referral pathways and protection events with relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain confidential personal information under IOM data-protection rules

Role Requirements

  • High-school certificate with four years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree in political or social sciences, human rights, international affairs, migration studies or a related field with two years
  • Experience in trafficking, gender-based violence, child protection or general protection
  • Case-management and referral experience
  • Fluency in French and English
