Job Description
Supports UNICEF Togo’s child-protection programme, with a particular focus on an initiative tackling child labour, trafficking and HIV-related risks. The national officer helps plan, implement, monitor and evaluate interventions; coordinates a results-monitoring system; strengthens data quality and accountability; and documents change, knowledge and good practices for children and communities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Contribute to planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of child-protection programmes
- Support the project addressing child labour, trafficking and HIV-related risks in Togo
- Coordinate an operational monitoring and evaluation system for the project
- Strengthen data quality, availability and use at all levels
- Monitor and document project results and meet programme-reporting and accountability requirements
- Build national capacity in monitoring, evaluation and results-based management
- Document and promote project knowledge, innovations and good practices
Role Requirements
- University degree in child protection, psychology, sociology, monitoring and evaluation, management or another relevant technical field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in planning, management or research for child-protection programmes
- Fluency in French
Desired Criteria
- Experience working in a developing country
- Experience with a UN-system agency or organisation
- Experience using digital monitoring and evaluation tools
- Resource-mobilisation experience
- Experience at country level in development, fragile settings or humanitarian emergencies
