Job Description

Provides UNICEF Morocco with technical, operational and administrative support across the child-protection programme cycle. The officer contributes to programme design, situation analysis, sector objectives, results-based planning, monitoring and reporting; supports field implementation and partners; builds national partnerships; mobilizes resources and advocacy; and strengthens innovation,.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support child-protection programme development and planning
  • Conduct situation analysis and contribute to sector objectives
  • Provide technical and operational support through programme planning
  • Collaborate with partners on implementation and conduct field visits
  • Monitor resources compliance and programme results
  • Build partnerships support advocacy and strengthen stakeholder capacity

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in international development social sciences sociology human rights psychology international law or related field
  • At least two years in child protection social-development planning or management programme management monitoring and evaluation partnerships capacity building advocacy knowledge management resource mobilization or humanitarian response
  • Fluency in Arabic and French

Desired Criteria

  • Knowledge of English Chinese Russian Spanish or Darija
  • International-organization or programme-development experience
  • Country-level development fragile-setting or humanitarian-context experience
