Youth & Adolescent Development Officer

The officer will support UNICEF’s country programme to integrate adolescent and youth development and participation across programmes and projects. Reporting to the Programme Specialist, the role combines programme planning, implementation support, monitoring, partnership building and knowledge management to strengthen young people’s skills, rights and meaningful participation in Ukraine.

• Support integration of adolescent and youth development and participation in country programmes and projects
• Prepare and implement technical and administrative programme tasks
• Support programme development and planning for adolescent and youth participation
• Monitor programme delivery and results
• Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation
• Build networks and partnerships
• Contribute to innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in international development, international studies, anthropology, psychology, education, social science, sociology or a related field
• At least two years of relevant work experience in social development planning and management in adolescent and youth development
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian

• Experience within UNICEF, the broader UN system or international organisations
• Developing-country work experience or familiarity with emergencies
• Country-level and field experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
