Adolescent Development and Participation Associate

Supports UNICEF Pakistan’s Generation Unlimited and Adolescent Development and Participation programmes. The National UN Volunteer coordinates the country operating plan and secretariat; supports national youth-policy launch and follow-up; helps run innovation challenges; organizes partner meetings and platforms; documents knowledge and reporting inputs; maintains alumni and youth-network.

• Contribute to the Generation Unlimited Country Operating Plan and Secretariat functioning
• Support the National Adolescent and Youth Policy launch roadmap implementation framework and follow-up
• Coordinate youth-led innovation challenges and participating adolescents and young people
• Support Generation Unlimited and adolescent-development coordination across sections and partners
• Document good practices updates lessons learned and partner contributions
• Organize and document coordination-platform meetings and follow up agreed actions
• Maintain UNICEF alumni and youth-network data and support youth participation
• Participate in provincial field monitoring visits and track interventions
• Support grassroots youth-engagement platforms and mechanisms

• Degree in social sciences development studies economics anthropology sociology public policy international development or related field
• Coordination partnership and follow-up skills
• Adolescent and youth programming youth engagement skills development partnership-platform policy-implementation and grassroots-participation understanding
• Writing editing documentation and knowledge-management skills
• Professional PowerPoint presentation and communication-product preparation
