Job Description

Provides project support to IOM Morocco’s Head of Programmes across migration, development, governance and protection initiatives. The consultant helps programme units strengthen project development, reporting, monitoring, quality control, partnership-building and event delivery, ensuring accurate data support informed decisions and coherent implementation across the mission’s thematic pillars.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support programme units implementing IOM Morocco initiatives through assistance to programme, monitoring, communication and project managers
  • Develop internal and external approaches that link Protection and Migration, Development and Governance departments
  • Review project, reporting and communication documents for basic quality control
  • Collect and prepare documents for virtual or physical submission between units
  • Support development and implementation of the mission’s private-sector approach
  • Verify and support data entry in PRIMA-for-All for monitoring, evaluation, project development and reporting
  • Prepare briefing notes, correspondence and programme documents for donors, thematic teams, mission staff and government counterparts
  • Support calendar updates, events, training, donor visits and meeting documentation

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Migration Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration or a related field
  • Academic background in project management, international development, migration, humanitarian action or related disciplines
  • Experience working with UN agencies, international organizations, government institutions or development partners
  • Experience in migration and development programming, project support, monitoring, reporting and project development
  • Fluency in English and French
