Job Description

Supports UNICEF Honduras’s Education team to implement, monitor, report on and evaluate project activities. The officer manages programme development and funds, analyses data and uses evidence for decisions, applies rights-based and results-based management, builds national and local capacity, supports advocacy, and coordinates diverse stakeholders to advance education and social-development.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support education-project implementation monitoring reporting and evaluation
  • Manage programme development and programme funds
  • Conduct programme monitoring and evaluations
  • Apply rights-based and results-based programme management
  • Build national and local capacity
  • Support advocacy partnerships coordination and collaboration

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in social sciences international relations project management government public administration public policy social policy social development community development or relevant technical field
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience
  • Rights-based and results-based programme-management capacity
  • Data-analysis and evidence-informed decision-making ability
  • Programme reporting evaluation and fund-monitoring knowledge
  • English and Spanish proficiency

Desired Criteria

  • Korean proficiency
  • Municipal social-development and education project-implementation experience
  • Intersectoral-project or Korean Cooperation experience
  • Developing-country or emergency familiarity
  • Country-level development fragile-setting or humanitarian-context experience
