Job Description
Supports ODIHR's Ukraine Monitoring Initiative by identifying, vetting and engaging witnesses of alleged international humanitarian and human-rights-law violations. The roster consultant liaises with civil-society actors and authorities, prepares witness information for monitoring teams, arranges interview logistics and travel, and advises deployments on appropriate interviewee profiles and local context.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Determine suitable interviewee profiles with the monitoring team
- Liaise with local actors to identify potential interviewees
- Contact and vet potential witnesses
- Collect and present witness information for monitoring missions
- Arrange interviewees' travel and accommodation for interviews
- Support secure transfer of relevant media to ODIHR digital storage platforms
- Attend interviews for their duration
- Conduct meetings with civil-society representatives, authorities and stakeholders
Role Requirements
- First-level university degree in law, history, social sciences, international relations or a related field
- At least two years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of human-rights issues arising from the armed conflict and displacement patterns affecting refugees and internally displaced people
- Knowledge of the local context for Ukrainian refugees and internally displaced people
- Fluency in English, Ukrainian and Russian
- Availability to travel within the country of operation
