Job Description

Builds a pre-qualified consultant roster to advance Youth, Peace and Security and Women, Peace and Security priorities across West and Central Africa, providing expertise for conflict analysis, youth participation, peacebuilding, advocacy and regional programme delivery.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and strategic advisory services
  • Design and implement programmes and frameworks
  • Conduct research, assessments, and evaluations
  • Support policy development and advocacy
  • Strengthen partnerships with governments, civil society, and youth-led organizations

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree (Master's or PhD) in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, Law, Social Sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience (7+ years for senior profiles)
  • Proven experience in fragile or conflict-affected settings, specifically Sahel or Lake Chad Basin
  • Fluency in English required; working knowledge of French mandatory for most regional assignments

Desired Criteria

  • Arabic or Portuguese language skills an advantage
