Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for women adolescent-girl and youth-empowerment programming
- Develop laws policies programmes and strategies for gender equality and sexual health
- Lead social and behavioural change initiatives for adolescent girls and young women
- Promote disability-inclusive programming and equitable service access
- Use digital platforms to improve safety for women and girls
- Coordinate partners to prevent harmful practices and promote youth participation
- Strengthen youth-led and women-led organizations to influence policy and decision-making
- Develop innovative financing proposals for gender equality and youth empowerment
- Generate synthesize and disseminate evidence and knowledge products
- Oversee programme design workplans budgets reporting and team performance
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in gender studies sociology public health development studies public policy development management or related disciplines or advanced degree in law and human rights
- At least five years in gender equality women’s empowerment sexual and reproductive health and rights or economic-empowerment programming
- English fluency
- Technical expertise in adolescent and youth development civic engagement gender equality and gender-based violence
- Policy formulation implementation and monitoring knowledge
