Job Description
Provides technical and administrative support to Sudan's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development on gender equality, women's protection and gender-based-violence programming. The assignment coordinates policy and partners, supports programme and budget management, and advances protection, accountability and inclusive services for women and girls affected by conflict and displacement.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate policies, meetings and activities on gender equality, women's protection and GBV prevention
- Draft policies, strategies, decisions, action plans and advocacy materials for the Minister
- Monitor protection risks affecting women and girls and prepare recommendations
- Prepare bilingual briefing notes, summaries and analytical updates
- Support programme and budget management for national and state-level GBV activities
- Coordinate government engagement with GBV actors, women-led organizations, civil society and UN agencies
- Promote accountability, prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse, and disability inclusion
Role Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in women's rights, gender-based violence or social development
- Experience providing high-level administrative or advisory support to senior government or organizational leaders
- Policy advocacy experience on women's rights
- English and Arabic
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with GBV emergency-programming standards and PSEAH guidance
