Job Description
Provides technical, operational and administrative support to UNICEF Angola's climate-resilient WASH and disaster-risk-reduction programme. The officer supports planning, implementation and monitoring of output results while contributing to humanitarian preparedness, emergency response, partnership building, innovation, knowledge management and capacity building across programme sections.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support programme development and planning for climate resilience and disaster-risk-reduction results
- Support programme management, monitoring and delivery of results
- Provide technical and operational support for programme implementation
- Support humanitarian WASH preparedness and response
- Contribute to networking and partnership building
- Support innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public health, social services, environmental or sanitary engineering, civil engineering, disaster management, international development, health communication, humanitarian studies or a related field
- At least one year of relevant experience in WASH, emergency response, hygiene, disaster-risk reduction, climate resilience, anticipatory action, humanitarian response or programme management
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official UN language or a local language
- Advanced university degree or further relevant experience
- International organization, developing-country, disaster-risk-reduction or early-recovery experience
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts
