Overview
Coordinates IOM’s e-waste circular-economy project from Kampala. The officer integrates repair, reuse and safe recycling into climate-mobility plans, manages operations, budgets and reporting, builds government and partner capacity, supervises staff and supports green livelihoods for displaced and host communities.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate operational, administrative and financial project delivery
- Integrate e-waste and circular-economy approaches into national climate plans
- Monitor implementation gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Develop workplans, budgets, procedures and evaluation tools
- Collect, verify and analyze project data and evidence
- Prepare donor reports, proposals and public communication products
- Coordinate donors, government, United Nations and civil-society partners
- Train and supervise project staff and support stakeholder capacity building
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, project management, innovation, migration studies, climate policy, development studies or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of those fields
- Experience liaising with government, international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced people or other vulnerable groups
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ugandan nationality
