Job Description
Supports IOM's Climate Action Division with communications, research and coordination on the links between climate change and human mobility. The internship updates environmental migration platforms, produces newsletter and social media content, helps prepare reports and events, and contributes research and trend analysis that informs climate mobility policy and advocacy.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Update the environmental migration portal and prepare social media content
- Gather content and prepare the Climate Action Division newsletter
- Support drafting reports and presentations
- Organise meetings, workshops and events through logistics and communications support
- Research climate mobility issues and prepare policy and advocacy summaries
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities with IOM offices and partners
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development Studies, Climate Change Studies, Law or related fields
- Fluency in English
- Ability to undertake policy research and prepare reports
- Ability to organise and complete multiple tasks by establishing priorities
Desired Criteria
- Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development Studies, Climate Change Studies, Law or related fields
- Experience preparing communication materials and web portals
- Knowledge of climate change, migration and sustainable development
- Working knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish
