Job Description

UNIDO seeks a National RECP and Climate Change Coordinator for a six-month national consultancy in Bangkok. The role provides technical oversight for cleaner-production and climate-mitigation consultancies in Thailand’s ceramic tableware sector, coordinates stakeholders and supports consultations, monitoring, dissemination and project delivery. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for RECP assessments and climate-change baseline analysis consultancies
  • Coordinate private-sector organizations for company participation in surveys and data collection
  • Review consultancy deliverables and provide consolidated technical comments
  • Guide international experts with relevant country-specific input
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations and meetings
  • Support project monitoring, dissemination and uptake of findings

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in engineering, agro-sciences, economics, business administration or another relevant discipline
  • At least five years of relevant experience in resource efficiency and cleaner production or climate-change mitigation in manufacturing value chains
  • At least three years of coordination and liaison experience with national and private-sector stakeholders
  • Experience with technical-cooperation or development-assistance programmes in Thailand
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai
  • Only nationals or permanent residents of Thailand are eligible
