Venture Fund Internship

Support UNICEF’s Venture Fund in identifying, investing in and learning from early-stage open-source technology solutions for children. The intern contributes to startup sourcing, due diligence, knowledge products, resource-mobilisation materials, portfolio management and country-office engagement, helping promising frontier technologies progress from pilot initiatives to scalable solutions.

• Support startup sourcing and due diligence through market scoping and application reviews
• Prepare evaluation notes, pipeline trackers and call-specific insights
• Develop and organise briefs, slide decks, website content and knowledge products
• Prepare resource-mobilisation materials including briefing notes and case studies
• Maintain portfolio workplan trackers and prepare internal updates
• Support country-office engagement through trackers, meeting summaries and follow-up materials

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree programme or have graduated within the past two years
• Relevant studies in development, business administration, political science, economics, innovation, public administration or related field
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide proof of medical insurance
• Be able to undertake the internship part-time

• Private- or public-sector experience
• Experience in an emerging economy or programme country
• Academic, volunteer or professional exposure to innovation-related work
