Job Description
UNEP Finance Initiative seeks an intern to support its Banking Programme and the Principles for Responsible Banking. The internship contributes to project management, research and thematic guidance on sustainable banking, including nature, climate, net-zero and financial inclusion. The intern will also support working groups and may progressively manage smaller projects independently.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support Principles for Responsible Banking implementation projects and working groups
- Contribute to thematic guidance development
- Conduct research on sustainable banking topics
- Support banking-team project management and meetings with stakeholders
- Take responsibility for smaller initiatives as experience develops
Role Requirements
- Current graduate enrolment, final-year bachelor enrolment or university graduation within one year
- Field of study related to finance, economics, sustainability, environmental sciences, policy or international relations
- Fluency in oral and written English
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another United Nations language
