Sustainable Finance & Financial Inclusion Associate

Supports UN Women’s Regional Office for the Americas and the Caribbean to advance gender-responsive sustainable finance. The UN Volunteer researches financial-inclusion and ESG approaches, organises evidence and programme documentation, coordinates partners and events, and contributes to monitoring, donor reporting, communications and knowledge products for inclusive ecosystems in the region.

• Conduct research and desk reviews on sustainable finance, financial inclusion, ESG frameworks and financial-sector policies
• Prepare briefs, concept notes, presentations, mapping exercises and knowledge products
• Organise gender indicators, data repositories, institutional commitments and programme documentation
• Coordinate meetings and follow-up with financial institutions, regulators, country offices and development partners
• Support webinars, workshops, regional dialogues and capacity-building activities
• Maintain tracking tools and prepare inputs for monitoring and donor reporting
• Draft content for updates, briefs and digital materials

• Background or demonstrated interest in sustainable finance, financial inclusion, gender equality, ESG, development finance, data analysis or public policy
• Proficiency in English

• Experience assisting with research, event preparation, coordination or information management is desirable
• Interest in gender-responsive financial inclusion and sustainable development is an asset
