Two online volunteers will translate, edit and conceptually review five UN Women technical documents from Spanish to English. Summary of Responsibilities
- Translate five technical documents from Spanish to English
- Edit and conceptually review translated content for precision and terminology consistency
- Apply UN Women and UN-system editorial standards
- Ensure clarity and consistency across definitions, methodological notes, tables and graphics
- Align executive summaries, technical content and conclusions
- Prepare texts for official reports, presentations and institutional publications
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communication, translation or a related field
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience translating and technically editing documents for international organisations, human rights or sustainable development
- Spanish and English language proficiency
Desired Criteria
- Specialised-statistics translation certification or postgraduate studies
- Master's degree in communication, advertising or a related field
- Knowledge of UN institutional terminology on gender equality, statistics and public policy
