Job Description
Supports UNIDO's Sustainable Investments and Responsible Business Unit on the Africa Trade Competitiveness and Market Access Programme. The internship provides research, administrative and coordination assistance for voluntary sustainability standards, responsible business conduct and sustainable supply chains, contributing to project information, outreach, workshops and analytical materials.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Gather, organise and review project information and analyse regulatory and supply-chain ecosystems
- Prepare background materials, summaries and draft inputs for analysis and reporting
- Support meetings, workshops and training through administrative and logistical assistance
- Maintain project records, databases and stakeholder contact lists
- Assist outreach and communication activities and prepare simple materials
- Conduct guided desk research on sustainability, policy and corporate-responsibility topics
- Organise policy documents and internal resources and prepare briefing materials
- Prepare an end-of-internship report for HRM clearance
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in a second-level university degree programme or higher, or start within one year of completing one
- Enrolment in the final academic year of a first degree programme or start within one year of completing one
- Accredited institution
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Desired Criteria
- Prior experience in sustainability standards, corporate responsibility or EU trade and environmental policy
