ET Consultant - Investment

IFC seeks an Extended Term Consultant in Paris to support Forestry business development and client relationships. The consultant will conduct industry and market research, analyse financial statements and company information, prepare credit-committee documents and client pitchbooks, participate in early transaction structuring, identify investment data, and maintain internal reporting materials.

• Conduct industry and market research for business development
• Analyse historical and projected financial statements
• Review company, economic and financial information
• Prepare screening, indicative-term and investment-committee documentation
• Prepare client pitchbooks and marketing presentations
• Participate in early investment structuring and transaction execution

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Science, Engineering or related field
• At least two years experience in business or finance
• Strong credit analysis and complex financial-modeling ability
• Excellent English plus at least one other European language

• Investment-transaction understanding across technical, financial, environmental, social and governance dimensions
• Business-development and client-relationship track record
• Interest in development finance and multicultural environments
